Copyright Policy (DMCA)
Last updated: October 16, 2026.
RankyAI respects copyright and responds to notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). Articles published with RankyAI are generated by AI for each customer, and each customer is responsible for what they publish (see our Terms of Service). If you believe content on ranky.com.mx, or on a blog or widget served by RankyAI, copies your work without permission, follow the procedure below.
1. Designated agent
- Name: RankyAI Copyright Agent
- Company: RankyAI
- Mailing address: Av. Huizachillos 195 B, Col. Estrella de la Mañana, La Estrella Angostura, C.P. 78483, San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., México
- Email: contacto@ranky.com.mx (subject: "DMCA notice")
2. What your notice must include
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if there are several).
- Identification of the infringing material and the exact URL of each page where it appears.
- Your contact information: name, address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notification may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether the use is infringing (for example, it may be fair use), consider talking to a lawyer first.
3. What we do
- If the notice is complete, we promptly remove or disable access to the material.
- We notify the customer who published it and send them a copy of the notice.
- If the notice is incomplete, we will ask you for the missing information.
4. Counter-notification
If you are a RankyAI customer and believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send our agent a counter-notification with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which RankyAI may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We will forward your counter-notification to the person who sent the notice. If they don't tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe copyright.
